Thomas is Managing Director and head of AltEx Capital. Prior to AltEx, he worked at Scotiabank for over 18 years, where he was Director of Private Equity and was responsible for investing the bank's capital into private equity funds and co-investing alongside sponsor partners. As an LP, Thomas worked closely with numerous sponsors globally both in the primary and secondary markets. Prior to Scotiabank Private Equity, Thomas worked at Roynat Capital, investing in small and medium sized business across Canada.
